This policy explains what xlsjson.com does with the data you bring to it: the files and text you convert, the details you send through the contact form, and the information collected automatically by advertising and analytics services. It applies to xlsjson.com and the converters hosted on it.
Different converters work differently, and the distinction matters for your data:
We do not read, analyse, sell, or share the contents of anything you convert, and we do not use it to train any model.
If you use the contact form, we collect the first and last name, email address, and message you provide, together with the phone number and company name if you choose to enter them. This is delivered to us by email and retained in our mailbox so we can reply and keep a record of the correspondence. We do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
xlsjson.com is supported by advertising. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site, and third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads here. These cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are shown a consent message before advertising and analytics cookies that require consent are set, and you can accept or decline personalised advertising there. Declining does not stop you using any converter on this site.
We use the following services to understand how the site is used and how well it performs:
These services set their own cookies or similar identifiers and receive your IP address as part of ordinary web requests. They do not receive the contents of the files you convert.
We use it to run and improve the converters, to answer messages you send us, to measure traffic and site performance, and to display advertising that funds the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Uploaded XML files are deleted as soon as the conversion finishes. Contact form messages are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up. Analytics and advertising data is retained by the providers named above under their own retention schedules.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to withdraw consent you have previously given. In practice the only personal information we hold directly is what you send through the contact form. To make a request, email us at sales@mail.xlsjson.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
The site is served over HTTPS, and XML uploads are transmitted over an encrypted connection and deleted after conversion. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If your data is particularly sensitive, prefer the Excel and JSON converters, which do not transmit your data at all.
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be reflected there.
